Upgrade from 4.1 to 5.1 Allowed memory size issue

Hi,

I have following issue when upgrading my vbulletin from 4.1.10 to 5.1. how to increase the memory??

Database size about 3.3gig. 600k+ posts and 40k users.
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 89 bytes) in /home/dplayboy/public_html/forumv5/core/vb/db/query.php on line 338

"MySQL server has gone away" is usually a problem with the MySQL server- overloaded / out of memory or the like You can try again by rerunning upgrade.php.

Thanks Joe, i installed V5 successfully... But the admincp page not found... Http://mysite/forumv5/admincp <-- not found. How to work on this? thanks

Make sure your .htaccess file is present in your ./forum5/ directory. If you don't see an .htaccess file then rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess (make sure you include the period at the beginning.)

You may need to edit the .htaccess file, fine the #RewriteBase / line and change it to:

RewriteBase /forum5/
