Make sure you're using Beta 3. There were some problems with permissions in earlier releases. They may not be entirely fixed until the next release though.
We do not recommend that you run Beta versions on production sites.

Only for the one user? Have them logout, clear their cookies and site history in the browser, and then log back in and see if they still have the same issue.Leave a comment:

5.1 Upgrade and User can't post on Forums anymore
Hi,
The other day I upgraded my forum from 5.0.5 to 5.1 and at first it appeared everything was installed correctly. After awhile one of my members sent me a PM saying that they can't leave comments or replies. They say that the button to post them has just disappeared.
Any solution?
