Quick Question on Signatures & AJAX Posting

When posting a reply on vBulletin 5 I notice that the user's signature does not post. Upon refreshing the page, it's there as it is supposed to be.

Is this the intended behavior, as a result of the extended use of AJAX (over vB4)? I'm curious if it was programmed this way deliberately, or if it is a limitation of AJAX.

Yes. It is intended behavior. It was deliberately programmed and not a limitation of using AJAX. It only affects the user making the post. Since signatures are often self-promotion, the user isn't losing anything by not seeing their own signature immediately.
