How to enlarge thumbnails of articles at mydomain.com/articles ?

In the admin control panel select settings --> options --> channel display options.

You have the option there to set the preview size to icon, thumbnail, small, medium, or large.

If none of those sizes work for you. you can adjust the dimensions of those options in settings --> options --> message attachment options.
