  • Question about vb:raw

Please refresh my memory - it's been ten years, lol - what is vb:raw? Is it referencing the PHP files?

Raw means it's reading the code without any parsing. RAW = "Read As Written"

It references raw variables without processing through HTML Entities. Generally used to output information that is already cleaned in other means. Very dangerous with uncleaned variables.

        It's explained a little here: https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/...emplate_syntax
        and here: https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/...mplates_syntax

Like In Omnibus and Wayne mentioned...

vb:raw is display the raw variable and vb:var using htmlspecialchars() before output.

Thank you! Here I am searching the forums for answers, and never thought to look in the documentation. See what getting old does to a guy? hahaha
