  • caddy2 working config?

    I'm looking at moving from nginx to the caddy2 server - it's awesome
    However i'm struggling getting vbulletin running under Caddy2. Does anyone have a working config I can have?

    This is where i got to, the forum renders, but then i can't navigate anywhere or login....
    Code:
    vb5.myurl.com {
    root * /srv/vb5.myurl.com

    @cssPhp {
    path_regexp ^/css.php$
    }

    @installPath {
    path_regexp ^/install/
    }

    rewrite @installPath /core/install/
    rewrite @cssPhp /core/css.php

    php_fastcgi php:9000
    file_server
    encode gzip
    }

    Your file seems to be missing the "main rewrite" that redirects everything but css.php and install to the index.php file.

      Thanks, a lot of it is handled by this nice short line:
      php_fastcgi php:9000

      https://caddyserver.com/docs/caddyfi...es/php_fastcgi

      By itself the line works great for a few sites I tried like ipb. However for vbulletin it's missing something...

        Well then I don't know. If you're not able to navigate or login, then your php_fastcgi php:9000 line isn't handling the redirect properly. Every single URL in the system except the two you have explicitly outlined must be redirected to the index.php in the root of your vBulletin directory. Otherwise, the software will not work.
