    9. Did you clear the browser cache and did the error continue? Yes

We banned a user yesterday for creating a post that was for spam but their activity seems trapped as the last noted activity on the main forum page for that subforum. But there is no record of the user's activity any longer. I can't access the original deleted activity so it is 'gone', but they still remain on the forum page. I wondered about deleting the user but from looking at that option it seems likely they will just change to 'guest' but remain.

    How can we unstick this?

EDIT: I've just spoken to the moderator who deleted it and they said it was just a post in an existing thread and the empty listing of the 'post' is also showing within the Buffy forum's Dead Threads list too because that is where the thread it was posted in is. But again, the post isn't in the thread although it is also showing as new activity there. - http://buffyforums.net/forums/forum/jossverse/buffy

This seems to have self-corrected. After a day it has just gone and the actual recent activity is being shown again. 🤷‍♀️

Module output is cached for performance reasons. It shouldn't take a day to clear though. Usually a few minutes. However if you're using a caching proxy like Cloudflare or Varnish, it could take longer.

That probably explains it then, thank you.
