The amount of total cores and total ram on your server really don't mean much. They will not help us troubleshoot your issue.

The questions we need answers to are here: https://forum.vbulletin.com/forum/vb...esting-support

In addition to those questions -

What is the amount of ram allocated to each PHP Script in your php.ini? The minimum required amount for vBulletin is 128 MB.

What table engine are you using in MySQL? You should be using INNODB tables.

What is the waterfall timing of a new post in Chrome?

To see this, click "New Post" and then press F12 in the browser. This should open the diagnostic window. Click on Network. Make your post. After the post on appears on the screen it should list each component/file and how long it took the browser to deal with that component.

I found some posts here saying it could be a AJAX/mon_security issue... I disabled mon_security and thats not it... still see that AJAX Unicode Issue in the diagnostics though

any other thoughts? we're up to 11 second to post a comment now.... right after the launch of the site so it's kind of critical

Would need access to the server and database directly to see what is wrong. This requires a support ticket.
