    Back on v3.8 there was a dedicated page for posting a reply, not just at the bottom of the thread. Am I mission an option for that?

    vBulletin 5 doesn't have such a page. It uses the Reply box only, which will 'auto grow' as the reply gets longer.
    You can also manually resize the box.

      Gotcha. Is there a way to make the emoji, attachment and/or advanced editor on permanently by default?

        That would require custom code.

        However, once the user has clicked the smilie button to display them, they will stay displayed on each page view until they click it again.
        The same applies to the advanced editor toggle.

          The system will remember the state of these panels. A user just has to turn them on once and they will remain on across their different devices.
