  • vBulletin 5 Home/Landing Page - how to create welcome page

I have been using vBulletin 4 for quite some time, and with the CMS features, was able to create a nice welcome page that described the site, displayed some images, and helped new users with some welcome information.

In vBulletin 5 Connect, I realize that Articles (CMS?) were re-added, but they do not seem nearly as implemented as VB4.

So, my question is, how can I use VB5 as a full web site solution in order to offer up a landing page, but still have all the headers/menus/footers/etc. that a user would get from a fresh installation of VB5 (lands on the Forum tab)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and allow me to stop having to use WordPress AND vBulletin to provide my user base what they expect in terms of user experience with the site.

    Thanks much!

vBulletin 4's CMS layout has been replaced by Site Builder. Site Builder is a lot more powerful and works on pages outside of Articles. It is discussed in the Getting Started PDF that ships with the software.
    1. Click Edit Site on any user facing page of your site.
    2. Click "New Page".
    3. Choose a Layout (columns)
    4. Drag and drop Modules to fit your needs.
    5. Edit the modules to change their settings by clicking on their pencil icon.
    6. Save the Page.
    7. When saving click the "Make this page the homepage" box.

hello, I've been trying to change my forum home page for articles for days, but I can't, I've watched videos, followed what they say here, but it doesn't work. Can someone help me? I pass adm access if necessary.
