Over time I've changed the names of the default usergroups and also added several custom user groups. (vB5.5.5)
I'd like to get back to basics, and wonder:
1) What are the numbers and names of the default usergroups in a clean install?
2) What is the behaviour, i.e. in which usergroup will a new member start and in which will he be moved to in the following cases:
- a) "Moderate New Members" is on
- b) "Verify Email Address" is on
- c) Neither

The default behavior for both of these options is that they are off on a new install.
If you have these options turned on then a new user will go through this process.
New Registers are placed in "Users Awaiting Email Confirmation".
An email is sent.
