  • "Template Compile Error"

    Hey Chaps,

    So I have been creating some CSS to control a HTML Module for a Discord Widget I am using. The CSS is as below:

    Code:
    /* Discord Positions/Styles START */
    .discord {
        }
    @media(max-width: 481px) { /* Controls Mobile Position */
          .discord { width: 250px; height: 500px; }
          .discord { margin-left: 35px; bottom: -0px; }
    }
    @media(min-width: 800px) { /* Controls Desktop Position */
          .discord { width: 250px; height: 500px; }
          .discord { margin-left: 5px; bottom: -0px; }
    /* Discord Positions/Styles END */
    Now this was working just fine when applying it via CSS Additional using the front end site builder when applying it to my first site skin ''DARK'', I then went to apply it to my other skin ''LIGHT'' only to get a ''Template Compile Error''. I then went back and looked at the code that was applied in the DARK skin and was exactly the same (Did a copy and paste).

    Now oddly, If I try and re-apply the code as above to the original ''DARK'' skin I get the error on that skin as well now (Even though the code is already applied in that skin and shows on CSS Additional.

    What could be causing this ? Other CSS Entries function as I wanted to test to see if it is just this particular CSS, and it seems so.

    I have taken a screenshot of the error and attached it to this thread.

    Your last rule is missing a closing brace. Could be a copy and paste error but that is the only thing I see incorrect.

    Code:
    @media(min-width: 800px) { /* Controls Desktop Position */
          .discord { width: 250px; height: 500px; }
          .discord { margin-left: 5px; bottom: -0px; }
    Should be:
    Code:
    @media(min-width: 800px) { /* Controls Desktop Position */
          .discord { width: 250px; height: 500px; }
          .discord { margin-left: 5px; bottom: -0px; }
    }

      Oddly enough...after some time had passed the Template accepted the CSS, even without changing it BUT as per best practise I have added the closing bracket. Cheers Wayne !
