  • Group page looks strange in Internet Explorer 11

Some of my users use Microsoft Internet Explorer 11. I dont know if vBulletin still supports that browser. Anyway, the groups page looks really strange. Dont know if it is a bug or some setting they can change.

To support Internet Explorer 11, edit the Group Module and set the default view to List. The decision is yours since Internet Explorer 11 has a very low usage rate at about 2.6% market share worldwide.

The issues you're talking about have already been reported in our Issue Tracker. However, due to market share, they are not considered to be a high priority.

Due to low market share, we will most likely drop support for Internet Explorer in the near future. One of the primary reasons is that Microsoft is dropping support for Internet Explorer as well. It will be replaced with the new version of Edge based on Chromium. Current Internet Explorer users should be encouraged into upgrading to Microsoft Edge. If they are using Windows 7, 8, or 8.1, they can download the Beta of the Microsoft's new version of Edge. It is also available for Windows 10 and MacOS. This version of Edge also has an IE 11 mode built in for compatibility with proprietary corporate web apps.

The Edge Beta is available here: https://www.microsoftedgeinsider.com/en-us/

Adventurous users can choose to download a weekly Dev version or a nightly Canary version as well. I have been using the Dev version since it was released and have found it to be very stable. This is due to Chromium being a stable base to begin with. It also provides a greater range of standard compliance.
