As with vBulletin 4, this would require custom code.

on my VB 5.5..3 I have the users group colour everywhere and I can choose any colour I want for user group
as Mark.B said above need custom code easy to get .

this is a post from "In Omnibus" at https://vbulletin.org/forum/showthre...80#post2598580

      PHP Code:
You don't need to edit templates to get usergroup colors to work.

All you need to do is to use HTML in the AdminCP Usergroups.

      Username HTML Markup

First Box: <span style="color:red"> (Or whatever color you want.)

      Second Box: </span>

You can also use any other HTML attribute, like <b> or <i>

voyger.: In Almighty God I trust, everyone else has to provide evidence."

The only places that Username Markup aren't used are in the member's list and in topic lists. Each of these would be a bug. To get the issue resolved quicker, you would need custom coding.
