    am migrating my site to another host.

    However, are multilingual strings being converted to ???? Programação3

    Your new host doesn't support UTF-8. Make sure the new database has the same character set and collation as your old database. Make sure the vBulletin Language is set to use UTF-8 as the HTML character set in the AdminCP.

      YOU HAVE A TUTORIAL Make sure the new database has the same character set and collation as your old database

        You screenshot doesn't have anything to do with what I said. Those options apply to URLS only.

        You can change the Locale and Character set of your Language under Languages & Phrases -> Language Manager. Edit your Language.

        There is documentation on MySQL character sets and collation located on the MySQL website here: https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.0...t-general.html

        You would have to run this query on both servers to see what they are set to for your site:

         SELECT @@character_set_database, @@collation_database;
        You would have to make them match.
