  • A new post in your Forum Channel subscription Email format issue

    This is nothing new, I'm just getting around to addressing it. I am getting email notifications of posts on one of my sites that shows html or bbcoding in the message as seen below as an example;

    The discussion is located at:
    https://apco-atlantic.org/node/825

    Here is the message that has been posted:
    ***************
    Good afternoon Chapter Members:

    There is less than ONE WEEK LEFT until the deadline for Award nominations and "Call for Papers". There is
    ***************

    All the best,
    Atlantic Chapter
    I've done some searching and found a post that deals with added html links being cut off in the post, but nothing specific about how to address the code from not showing format coding.

    Emails are sent as Text. There is no way to have the HTML formatted within them at this time.

      So is this the result of the user that created the post with BOLD formatting and it passes through with the unformatted text?

      This is what I see in my email;

        BBCode doesn't work outside of the bulletin board. Thus the name: Bulletin Board Code.
