    So that I understand...you have the database and files, you have hosting, it's all there, but the domain is different? Is that correct?

          You need to update the URL within the database.
          1. Upload the /core/install directory to your server.
          2. Upload tools.php from the do_not_upload folder to your /core/install directory.
          3. Load tools.php in your browser, domain.com/core/install/tools.php
          4. Choose the tool to update the FORUM URL.
          5. When done updating the URL, delete the /core/install directory.

                    You cannot use PHP 4.8.3 with vBulletin 5. It just isn't possible. You'll need to upgrade to PHP 7.1 to upgrade to 5.5.2

                        You have all the files from the upload/core/install directory in your download package uploaded to /core/install on your server?

                            I have no idea why it is creating that exception. You can try these queries:

                            Code:
                            SET @SITEURL='http://vbulletin/vb5_live';

                            UPDATE setting SET [email protected] WHERE varname='frontendurl';

                            UPDATE setting SET [email protected] WHERE varname='frontendurl_login';

                            UPDATE setting SET value=CONCAT(@SITEURL,'/core') WHERE varname='bburl';
                            Change the value of @SITEURL and if you use a table_prefix then you need to add it to the table name of `setting`. As always, before running any query, you need to make a full database backup. Run direct queries against the database at your own risk.
