You should do one or the other. Style Variables are a means to allow less knowledgeable people to create custom styles. However, most of them parse to directly to CSS. If you add your own CSS you don't need to change the style variable.

OK, so i should add it to css first and then image path to the blank box?

I mean unless you type url('imagename.ext') in the style variable box, it will never work. It says this right in the Style Variable editor. You can see this in the Screenshot attached to this topic. You must form valid CSS when using style variables. If you don't know how to use CSS, then you should take a beginner's course on it.

What do you mean by that:
Also like I said before the file path must be surrouded by url('filepath')?

I've changed back to full URL of image. Idk why it doesn't work. What else can I try to get it work?

You should use the complete URL of your image. When you use Relative URLs in CSS, they are relative to the CSS file, not the page being viewed.

See this tutorial on background images: https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_...ound-image.asp

Also like I said before the file path must be surrouded by url('filepath'). Otherwise it won't be properly formatted and the browser will toss it in the trash.

    I changed to /images/background.jpg

And the image does not appear on page background.

    Hi.

I was trying to add image as a forum background via admincp>body_background

But looks like no changes. Do I'm doing something wrong?
