You need to register a new user via the front end of your forum, just like any other user would.

Then in tools.php you click 'Reset Admin Access', you then specify which username you wish to make an admin (which will be the new one you've just created).

Once you have the new admin account working, you can use this account to reset the password of the original.

Ok, but where do I go to register a new user?

The picture I uploaded is what I see when I go to MyWebsite.com/home/admincp/tools.php..... it doesn't give me much of anything to change.

Also, when I click on any of those link, it just re-load the same page.

You can register a new user and then use the tools.php file to elevate that user to Admin status. There is no way to change an unknown password without the email system.

Yes, I tried to re-gain my password using the email, but that didn't do anything. I might have forgotten the email as well, so if I can re-gain it by taking control of Admin, then I can set it all up again.

To change your password, you need to attempt to log into your forums. When it fails, there will be a link to send you a password reset email. Click on it.

Need to re-gain my password as Admin.

No crap! Once again I need to regain my password.

    Here is what I did:

    Upload:
    From:
    Vb5_connect_5-2-5-LE4312CAED/do_not_upload/tools.php
    To:
    Public_html/home/core/admincp/
(home) is the folder where I have all Vbulletin files.

    From:
    Vb5_connect_5-2-5-LE4312CAED/home/core/install
    To: Public_html/home/admincp

    Then I go to:
    MyWebsite.com/home/admincp/tools.php

And I get the picture below.

So, where do I go to change the password of the profile I need?
