Error no_permission in private groups

You can fix most of the problems by giving "Can always see channels" in channel 'group' to usergroup channel members.

I've heard from another admin, has the same errors. So it IS A BUG !

We have the same error in our forum in private groups... plus: when group-members like a post, there is a 50:50 "chance" that they also get an error and their like is not shown until for example the admin likes the post.

I don't. On mirror I wouln't do, because I test all release updates on.

It could be related to a group bug that is resolved in 5.3.4. If you upgrade a copy of your database to 5.3.4 RC2, do you have the same issue?

They're not.

Are these users in multiple usergroups? If so, try it with users in a single primary usergroup and the "Channel Members" permissions set to default across the board.

Private group members can create new topics or replies. But when they post a reply, they get this error message below, although the post itself is created.



I've tested in default style without any style changes or additional javascripts. Only group members are affected. Administrators and group admins are not. I can fix this by giving permission to "Can always see channels" in channel 'group' to channel members, but I won't do that, because private group members can see other private group channels, too.

I've changed all variables {vb:raw no_permission} but I couldn't find out, which template is responsible for. Has anyone an idea how to fix this?
