You are correct that they do not have categories at this time. This was something we had thought about reimplementing but there wasn't sufficient customer feedback or demand for the functionality to move forward.

We need categories for this, I was planing to use blogs as special place where people should comment on various products and now....damn

I think user may have permission to create blogs, but may not have permission to create blog categories.
