  • Problem Loading Forum

    Hello,

So I tried to create a new "Home" page and did what it said on this link:

    https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/articles/vbulletin-5-connect-aa/vbulletin-5-tutorials-aa/4025039-vb5-how-to-create-a-custom-home-page

Since my forum is in the root directory, I changed this:

    RewriteEngine on
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^yoursite\.com$
    RewriteRule (.*) http://www.yoursite.com/$1 [R=301,L]
    RewriteRule ^$ forum/home [L]

    TO BE: (mine)
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^bariinternational.org [NC]
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.bariinternational.org/$1 [L,R=301,NC]
    RewriteRule ^/home [L]

this didn't work the way I want it to. So I deleted this new "Home" page.

I removed that change .htaccess file and put back the current .htaccess file in the public_html folder, but it's telling me the "Forum" page doesn't exist and Blogs is now loading as the forum

The address is now trying to go to: https://www.bariinternational.org/Home and not just https://www.bariinternational.org

If I go here: https://www.bariinternational.org/index.php it actually does load the "Forum" page but shouldn't be as I shut down the forum and it says closed, but it's still loading and loading twice and now the "blogs" page is also loading forum information.
Is there a db entry I need to delete/remove?

I opened support ticket 1592138 for this as well.

    Please help.

    Thank you

Hello, in attempts to troubleshoot, I have added the Menu Item "Home" to the forum page and attempted to build that out, however it's giving me an invalid page error.
