  • Issue custom profile field in postbit

Using this wonderful post I have added one of my custom profile fields to the postbit, but I'm having a small issue once I slightly edited the code.

    I changed this:
    Code:

     <vb:if condition="$userInfo['field19']"><li><label>{vb:phrase field19_title}:</label> <span>{vb:raw userInfo.customFields.default.field19_title.val}</span></li></vb:if>
    To this:
    Code:

     <vb:if condition="$userInfo['field19']"><li><label>{vb:phrase field19_title}:</label> <span><img src="/forum/images/buttons/{vb:raw userInfo.customFields.default.field19_title.val}.png" /></span></li></vb:if>
It shows the image, but for users that doesn't selected a value from the drop down list, it now shows the name of the profile field even though there is no value. How can I change the code that it only shows the name and image for users that did select a value?

Is this something that can be done in the vBulletin Cloud?

I've created user profile fields for "Location", but cannot get it to show up in the postbit or in the memberlist. Tried following the mod above, but no success. Our forum is an organizational tool for members to get together for camping gatherings all across the United States and Canada, so locations are important to us.

        This is what displays...

Modifications of this sort are not available on vBulletin Cloud at this time.

In all honesty, a template modification shouldn't even be needed for this. It should be part of the system. I made a feature request for this here: https://tracker.vbulletin.com/vbulle...sues/VBV-14341. It could use a few more votes from customers so that I can push it for development. If it could get to 20 votes, I can try to push it for the version after 5.5.5 (not sure if that will be 5.5.6 or 5.6.0).
