There is an unofficial patch available for 5.2.3 using PHP 7.0.9

If you're running 5.2.3 on php 7.0.9 or 7.0.10 then there is an issue with logins and you will need to roll back to php 7.0.8.
There is a fix for this coming in 5.2.5.

You have to click the Network tab in the browser debug tools and click one of the entries that throws Internal Server Error and then click Response tab to see the actual response from the server. It might contain the PHP error stack trace if you enabled the debug mode.

    Hi Glenn,

I am working with rnedelkow on this. I have found the following Ajax errors while in Debug mode.

/ajax/api/phrase/fetch (error, 239ms, 2ms) Error: Internal Server Error
/ajax/api/options/fetchValues (error, 126ms, 0ms) Error: Internal Server Error
/ajax/api/options/fetchValues (error, 119ms, 1ms) Error: Internal Server Error
/ajax/api/options/fetchValues (error, 124ms, 1ms) Error: Internal Server Error
/ajax/api/options/fetchValues (error, 132ms, 1ms) Error: Internal Server Error

    Thanks

Try enabling debug mode and see if it displays detailed PHP error stack trace.

    Hi Glenn,

The domain name is the same. We are testing the new server by routing the domain name to the server via the host file.

    Hi Rob,

Did the domain name change too? Maybe the cookie domain in AdminCP is still pointing to the old domain?

Can't log into forum on new server

    Hello,

After transferring the vBulletin form to a new server, the login functionality is not working, this includes admin login.

When trying to login, nothing happens and the page just re-loads. We have tried the quick login form and the login page as well. There are no errors from the network logs in the browser or responses. The forms properly load, but the login does not work.

The files have been transferred from the original server, and the database was copied. We tried using the tool kit, but when entering Customer Account Number, page just re-loads similar to what happens when trying to login. One thing that is noticed when loading the form is that network logs indicate 500 error response back on POST fetch request. Any assistance is much appreciated
