  • Right Column change width

    Hi,

    I am using an aftermarket template, just in case that makes a difference. I am including a screen shot of an ad space. The problem is that the ad is 300px wide and is larger than the supplied right column. It overhangs outside the supplied module. How can I make the right column wider, say, 325px? https://www.christforums.org

    Thanks in advance,
    William

    Try this.

    Code:
    [COLOR=#222222][FONT=Consolas][SIZE=12px].canvas-layout-container .canvas-widget { width: 325px; margin: [/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#222222][FONT=Consolas][SIZE=12px]0 0 20px 0; [/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR][COLOR=#222222][FONT=Consolas][SIZE=12px]}[/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR]
    I tried it on my forum to test and it went off the page some so I added the margin in to fit it in the page properly.

    After doing that it should be perfect for you.

      Thanks Cloud,

      I was having issues while viewing small screens or mobile version. I ended up with the following code:

      Code:
      /*-- forumhome sidebar resize 350px --*/
      /*-- add +15px to the 350px width ---*/

      [USER="3396"]media[/USER] only screen and (min-width: 600px) {
      .l-row__fixed--right > .l-col__flex-6.l-col--flex-first > .l-col__flex-content {
          margin-right: 365px;
          }
      }
      [USER="3396"]media[/USER] only screen and (min-width: 600px) {
      .l-row__fixed--right > .l-col__flex-6.l-col--flex-first {
          margin-right: -350px;
          padding-right: 0px;
      }
          }
      [USER="3396"]media[/USER] only screen and (min-width: 600px) {
      .l-row__fixed--right > .l-col__fixed-6 {
          width: 350px;
      }
          }
      Kind regards,
      William
