Attacking the staff isn't going to get you anywhere, and it's against the rules you agreed to at signup.
Appreciate that you're not happy with the decision, but please keep things civil and professional.

Your developers are an arrogant bunch. The don't bother to document anything, won't come near any support forums,

So, the only way to prune forums now is by deleting individual threads. Who was the genius who thought that was a good idea? I have 10's of thousands of threads to delete and this is simply unacceptable. I have all the skills to develop the software, run mysql queries, etc., and if I have to, I'll go in and blast the thread and post tables as necessary. Of course, there's a strong chance that something will break, but what the heck, it's only my time which your development team seems perfectly willing to waste.

Also, from a business standpoint, it's simply stupid not to document things like the API interface. Instead, you're satisfied to answer endless questions explaining that it's not documented but will be "real soon now". I don't know why I'm writing this because evidently, nobody that matters will read it.

They were removed by the developers for some unknown reason and haven't been added back. See: http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-1789. It needs more votes to gain more attention.

Currently, you have to use inline moderation in individual forum channels to prune topics. Unfortunately that isn't very convenient.

Those pages seem to cover an older version of vBulletin. I don't think that these options do still exist in vB5.

Can't find pruning options for old posts/threads?

    Hi,

On google & on the VBulletin Manual I see references to pruning options (examples: https://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/threads_prune http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/v...pruningthreads).

I can not find these, and need to delete some posts to keep my database size managable. Current version is 5.1.6.

    Please help?

    Thanks,
    Timothy
