  • New install of 5.1.7 Chrome attachment errors.

I have just installed a fresh copy for my business. 5.1.7 and the attachments don't connect. Here are the system parameters.

The PDF does not download and the image does not show in Chrome. Works fine in FireFox. I cleared the cache and made sure I was up to date on both.

    Thoughts?

Also I can't delete a post in Chrome and when I go to edit a page it keeps asking me for my admin password. Never gets past the password question. Works fine in Firefox.

Is anyone else seeing this issue?

Also not able to move topics in Chrome but works in Firefox. Says I don't have permissions as an admin.

Turn off your addons in Chrome. Especially ones that block Javascript and Advertising. Does it work then?

I use Chrome on vBulletin 5 forums 60 hours a week without issue.

That did the trick. Thanks a bunch. Still don't know what it was since I only had a bookmark add-on.

It could be triggering a javascript error due to a conflict. We rely on Javascript throughout the system. Probably a little too much.
