  • How to reset "New topics" module?

    Hi,
I made mistake and edit "new topics" module. Now it gives no suitable results. How can I reset it so that show related results similar below:

    http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/search?searchJSON={%22date%22%3A%22lastVisit%22%2C%22view%22%3A%22topic%22%2C%22unread_onl y%22%3A1%2C%22sort%22%3A{%22lastcontent%22%3A%22desc%22}%2C%22exclude_type%22%3A[%22vBForum_PrivateMessage%22]}/

    Thanks.

It only shows content from last_activity and works differently than previous versions. In previous versions it showed all unread content within a global 10 day time out regardless of activity. In vB5 it just resets after your last activity. This makes it fairly worthless for active forum users. The support team has tried to get it refined so it performs better but haven't been successful yet.

I recommend using the "Today's Posts" link if you want more search results. This is normally hidden in the Navigation to everyone but guests so you'll need to edit it and change its permissions.
