    That is possible:
    • In the AdminCP, create a duplicate/copy of your main usergroup (the one that everyone is assigned to after registering, usually 'Registered Users') and rename it to something else, for example 'Verified Users'.
    • Disable private messaging for your default 'Registered Users' usergroup under AdminCP > Usergroups > Usergroup Manager > [Edit Registered Users] > Private Message Permissions. Set Maximum Stored Messages to 0.
    • Create a new promotion under AdminCP > Usergroups > Promotions > Add New Promotion. Promote every user of 'Registered Users' that reaches 10 posts to the usergroup 'Verified Users'.

Now every new registered user needs to make 10 posts before he can use private messaging.

Is there any way to disable private messaging for new users until they reach 10 forum posts?
