  • How do I give someone full AdminCP access?

I'm running VB5 and wanted to give another user Admincp access, but couldn't figure it out. I went to the User Manager page and made 'Administrators' his primary usergroup, but it's not working. What am I doing wrong?

If you want them to be a superadministrator, add their userid to the "superadmins" line in /core/includes/config.php.

Alternately, if you don't want him to be a Super Adminstrator, but you do want him to have access to several areas of the admincp, go to Usergroups > Administrator Permissions > click to Edit Permissions for that user and you will see a big list of things you may allow them to do.

Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.
