I am now on 5.1.5(the 3rd version I've had to install in less than a month) to avoid that being asked of me.... and now I have lost access as well. Yay.

Here is the debug info from my admincp page. *sigh*

I tried changing my password on the forum which is working but it will not save it. I click save changes and nothing happens. No errors either.

I tried reuploading my config.php that worked for another user and it did nothing. I also just submitted a support ticket since this is being ignored.

Just to keep this updated in case anyone else has the same issues and reads this thread.

vbulletin told me to go into my admincp and make changes to some settings to fix the fact that I can't log in to my admincp.

          Yeah. That happened.

The settings they asked me to change were to make my private forum no longer private. Not really an acceptable answer even if I could get into my admincp.

You only need to make the top level channels, home and forum, visible to guests.

You can go into each of the individual forums and still have those set to be non-viewable.

Can you access it by using /core/admincp rather than /admincp?

This method shouldn't normally be used but if you are otherwise locked out then it may resolve the issue.

If you can get in that way, clear the system cache as the very first thing you do.

I'm getting that error too when session times out. The site was upgraded from 5.1.1 to 5.1.5.

Nope.I get a page that displays the number 1 and that's it.

I put in a ticket 5 days ago and they abandoned me 3 days ago. It's starting to border on unacceptable. I've been a vbulletin member a long ass time(and have spent well over $600 on upgrades) and I'm starting to regret it lately. I understand people are trying to help, but more communication with your customers would be appreciated.

Lynne S. helped me and the issue has been resolved. The name of my cookie prefix in the config.php in the root file did not match the cookie name in the core/includes/config.php file.

Hope that helps someone else who may have this issue.
