  • vbletin upgrade issue

    i am upgrading vbulletin v4.2.2 to vbulletin 5first i got this wait timeout exceeded; try restarting transaction
    then i changed innodb_lock_wait_timeout to 50000 and then i tried to upgrade via command line from my vps then i got this error .Deadlock found when trying to get lock; try restarting transaction)
    I have more then 600k+ threads please tell me how to fix this issue?

    sudo -u <user> php -f upgrade.php (Replaced <user> with my domain username)

      Turn display_errors off in your PHP.

      What happens when you run the step via the web client?

        now somehow setup is completed but my all threads, posts and forums are gone
