    I tried this, making use of "Open Sans" from google..

    only parts of the page actually use the font, others will load up w/the font you select and then change back to Arial..

    ideas?

    Are you sure that is the exact family name?
    Answer: Yes
    You have all variants of the family installed on your computer? The font is a true-type or open-font-type file?
    Answer: Yes
    I am using the font 'alkatip tor tom' can be used in www.anwar.cn

    Demo: www.anwar.cn 100% no problem

    Change fonts download address: http://www.anwar.cn/ALKATIP%20Tor%20Tom.TTF

    The code above works for me. You need quotes around fonts with spaces in their names though.

    Are you sure that is the exact family name? You have all variants of the family installed on your computer? The font is a true-type or open-font-type file? You're not overriding it in the browser itself?

    At the moment you would need to change the main fonts via css.

    For instance, add this to the template css_additional.css, changing the font line to whatever you want:
    Code:
    body {
    	font:13px/1.231 Helvetica,Arial,Verdana,sans-serif;
    }
