Other error logs are working fine.

I even changed php's display_errors value to On and still nothing shows up anywhere.

And strangely enough after I had another administrator test the link it has started working again. o_O

So this is an intermittent issue as it is once again generating a 500 error when we view that same thread (no other threads exhibit the behaviour).

There is still no errors being generated or logged anywhere and I can confirm that both vbulletin & apache are able to write logs.

Any help? Should I just wait until B27 to see if it is fixed by another already known issue?

Are the log files working at all for other errors or are they just not working at all? If not at all, contact your host.

500 Internal Server Error accessing thread

On my new vb5 (beta 26) install I started a thread, a couple of replies we exchanged and now the server returns a 500 internal server error when trying to access the page.

    http://new.ragga-jungle.com/forum/mo...-be-done-still

The thread is in a forum that would normally be hidden from the public, but I have changed the permissions so that unregistered users can see it now. If you try other pages on the site they work just fine.

The server error logs don't reveal any information:

    Code:
    [Sun Jan 27 20:34:59 2013] [error] mod_fcgid: process /home/ragga-jungle/domains/new.ragga-jungle.com/fcgi-bin/php5.fcgi(18599) exit(communication error), get unexpected signal 11
[Sun Jan 27 20:34:53 2013] [warn] [client 206.248.190.190] (104)Connection reset by peer: mod_fcgid: error reading data from FastCGI server, referer: http://new.ragga-jungle.com/
[Sun Jan 27 20:34:53 2013] [error] [client 206.248.190.190] Premature end of script headers: index.php, referer: http://new.ragga-jungle.com/

I also tried setting up all of the different log files in the "Error Handling & Logging" section of the options, but none of the log files are being created.

Any help on next steps for debugging this?
