    Did you try :

    //something to comment on

    /*something to comment on */

    vB5 is unequivocally the best forum software, but not yet...

        <vb:comment> works, I have used this in vB5.

        What template code are you trying to edit?

          widget_activitystream

          Trying to comment <div class="site-name">{vb:raw vboptions.bbtitle}</div> to see how it it looks with FORUMS, LATEST ACTIVITY, MY SUBSCRIPTIONS top aligned with the widget on the side.

          I see yours is aligned.

            Please post this in JIRA. There have been templates committed in the past where something prevented them from being edited in the Admin CP.

            Though you can probably make any necessary layout changes in CSS without editing templates.

              I did some css stuff I think to push the right hand sidebar down.

              As for that template - I have just commented out the line you mentionedand it saves ok. Are you on Beta 19 with this?

                Yesem, B19

                I got another err trying to edit another template manually to see what would happen ('header' IIRC). Something about the URL being too long. Twas an Apache screen dump err msg.

                  That error is one that I also get, it does actually save it though.

                  Or just click "Save" rather than "Save & reload".

                    http://tracker.vbulletin.com/browse/VBV-6297

                    - - - Updated - - -

                    In re to top aligning things, I added a simple .site-name { display: none; } to css_additional.css.

                    Now I want to add the purty breadcrumb bar I have in my vb4 test install.

                    BTW... I can't upload attachments on these here forems at random. Get an upload failed err.
