  • Vbulletin 5 PHP-Nuke CMS Integration

Okay, before I start this thread, I wanted to say that this is the best idea I've ever thought of.

I have an idea to make my website a huge hit.

I'm not sure if you've ever heard of php-nuke. Don't let the name fool you. It's an ordinary content management system for websites. I fell in love with it when I was only 13 going on some of the sites that used to interest me.

This is where I need your approval staff, please say yes

It's able to integrate phpbb3 into the cms layout. You have to have the files imported in a way that php-nuke understands.

Now all I'm asking the staff (please say yes), because I am a licensed customer, allow me to import the files into the cms integration.

I am currently searching their website to see if there's a way known to them. I have actually seen one website who did it with vbulletin 3 but have not seen one since.

If you would allow a permission since the software is open source to paid customers, that I find a way to do this please let me know.

I am also hoping you may have a suggestion on how this can be done. I am still searching for a way. I think this is the one thing that can set my website apart from the others. It's worth it to me even if it takes me a year to learn how to do this.

I'll wait to see what you all have to say.

There's nothing preventing you from modifying files to allow the integration (vBulletin is *visible* source, not open source).
However we as support staff cannot provide any assistance with doing so.

Okay thank you. I wasn't sure if I needed your permission to do so. Thanks for letting me know this.

I will try and find a way. Maybe the people at vbulletin.org will be able to help.

Thank you so much Mark. I am loving your product every step of the way.

        Hello,

What is the website for vbportal? I may be able to pay someone $45 to do a script for vb5.

I know you can't assist yourself but please point me in the right direction. Thanks.
