  • Will site builder do everything a wiki can do?

This is a question to people who've tried site builder, not a suggestion.

Will vB5 Connect's site-builder do everything a wiki can do? Or in vB5 connect will there still be a need for a plug in wiki mod for vBulletin, for those people that run wikis with their forums.

No... Wiki is about creating collaborative content, editing it and maintaining a history. Site Builder is for building the layout of the site so you can create content using the content types provided. vBulletin doesn't have a wiki content type.

So if you have an addon Wiki now, you will most likely continue to need a similar addon on your site.

Thank you for the reply that's helpful.

I know vB5 is still in beta, but any updates yet on when the calendar is likely to make it back and the feature that streams the vB4 CMS content is likely to arrive?

Not until after the Gold Release as we have stated before. 5.1 is the earliest those components would return.
