I'm trying to show who's online but regardless of who's actually online, it's only showing myself. when I go to http://mysite/forum/online it shows just me as logged in even though there's several others. Any ideas?

Edit the module and set "Show users from this page only" to "No".
It's not a bug as such, it's that this option defaults to the opposite of what you might expect it to.

Both modules need the same setting editing....there's the one on the forum home page, and the one that is the Who's Online page.
Edit them both and set "Show users from this page only" to "No".
You should find the results much more to your satisfaction....
By default what the Who's Online page is actually showing you, is everyone who is viewing the Who's Online page.....
