    I had the site url set to http://www.mywebsite.com.au Do I change that to http://mywebsite.com.au ? And if so do I have to rerun the setup? or simply alter the config file?

    Thanks in advance.

    Steve.
    I see a style with both the URLs above. The second is probably more accurate. www is simply a sub-domain to tell a client it is a webserver instead of a mail server. Used in the early days, this isn't needed today because clients are smarter.

    Simply editing the config file would allow it to see the files correctly.

    Your baseurl needs to be http://beta.smarksnark.com in the config.php.... beta.smarksnark.com is not a proper URL and doesn't setup the base URL correctly.

    Can't believe I durped that. However, after having removed the trailing slash, clearing the cache from Chromium and refreshing the problem persisted. So I checked in FireFox and Opera and the same thing is happening in those browsers as well.

    Have a look at this part:

    Code:
    // These urls should NOT include a trailing slash
    // This is the url and web path of your root vBulletin directory
    $config['baseurl'] = 'beta.smarksnark.com/';

    Not sure how this got fixed just from reading this thread to be honest. I'm getting the same problem and apparently I see that I've not edited my Presentation Configuration correctly but I'm not sure what it is that I need to do to fix it.The url is http://www.beta.smarksnark.com

    It was set to forums/core
    The CP looked fine but the forum itself was all whacked up so I changed it to just /forums
    Thats when CP went awry as well.
    I changed it back to /forums/core and CP is back but the actual forums are still messed up.
