  • Where is the /home/vbulletin folder?

    When connecting to website/host in filezilla cant find the folder for the public_html file? im trying to go off the video vbulletin made http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tmCHZvm8j4 I dont see any file she has in the video

    public_html isn't a file, it should be your default root directory.

      Ok and where do I find that root I'm really having a hard time with the installing process every step I'm seeming to have a problem I finally connect with the server and what should be there is not there thank god for bad luck I would not have any at all

        When you first login to your site via FileZilla, you should see a list of directories on the right. If you look at the right hand side, you'll see the public_html dir shown.

            It depends on the hosting company, sometimes it's not called public_html. What directories can you see when you login via FileZilla?

                Can you post a list of directories you can see in FileZilla? Screenshot would be fine too.

                Instead of "public_html", the folder may just be called "html".

                  On the right side of filezilla in remote site area I have _db_backups - then I have cgi - also have stats - and there is wp-content

                      Sounds like it's taking you straight into your public_html dir, but as Aakif says, post a screenshot just to confirm
