  • logo image not 'sticking'

On our test board, we added a logo image in the header and saved changes. upon browsing to any page, post or whatever on the site, the logo image just vanishes.. view image loads the attachment page but its also blank.

    what gives?

Work around is to maunally upload the logo to /core/images/misc and set it in StyleVar > ImagePath > titleimage. (images/misc/logo.png)
To be or not to be... Where the hell is the question????

does this apply to avatars and their various thumbs too as these aren't reliably displaying either.

I am not seeing issues with avatars. Make sure the avatars/thumbnails directories are chmod 777 if not saved in database.

There are some general upload issues in Firefox and Chrome in Beta 10.

Seems there is still an issue in Beta 13.
I uploaded an image to both base image/misc and core/image/misc directories just to be safe, then changed the name in titleimage in the stylevars. Not only does the logo not show in chrome or IE but after save the stylevar does not change colour to show it has been edited.

Unless the issue is listed in the Changelog for the version you're working with, the chances that is fixed is very remote.

I posted here as the work round that was posted by Merjawy does not seem to work for the version, rather than as a new issue or suggest it had been resolved internally
