  • Weird behavior after upgrading from 4.2.0 -> 5.1.2

    After upgrading the forum we adjusted some of the forum sections and moved topics around. After doing so, the "latest post" portion of a section preview in the forums index will show what used to be the latest post in that section, despite the forum section being completely empty.

    Separately, every user seems to be 'online' despite this not being the case.

    It's also possible to receive a popup error that mentions a syntax error regarding an '>', but the post will still go through anyway.

    Here is a link to the forum so you can see what I mean: http://forums.bmrf.me/

    I have tried clearing the system cache and rebuilding both the topic and forum information with no success.

      I'm not seeing any last post information at all, except for one forum at the very bottom, but that does have posts.

        To fix the last post, go to Maintenance > General Update Tools > Rebuild Forum Information and then Clear System Cache. That should fix it.

        If not, are you using any other caching on your site (caching that you entered into the config.php file)?
