Where would I find the number of registered users and the number of active users on my site?

  • #2
To get the total number of users in vB5, go to:
AdminCP > Users > Search For Users > Show All Users
The total is shown at the top.

The number of users actually online at the moment is shown in the "Who's Online" block on the front page.
If by "active" users you mean those who have logged in recently, there is no means to show this in vBulletin as the metric for "active" users varies from site to site.

Problem with what you've suggest is that this is not very helpful as it includes banned members in the Show All option.

Specifically what I am trying to find is data that is part of vB4, but was dropped in vB5, such as the below from one of my vB4 sites:

Name:	Stats.png
Views:	38
Size:	10.4 KB
ID:	4112679

Total Thread Count, not including deleted/hidden threads
Total Post Count, not including deleted/hidden posts
Total Members, not including banned members
Total Active Members - Which appears to be those who have logged in within the past 30 days

Since this information apparently is no longer available, I will just write my own queries. Not very difficult to do at all, but what a pain to drop something useful to your customers.

I believe there is an addon that may show some or all of this information:

Obviously we can't provide support for third party add-ons.
