  • Edit Button missing when logged on as admin?

The edit slider has gone from my home screen so can't edit in site manager. How do I fix this?

  • #2
Use IE or Chrome. It will randomly vanish from firefox and no amount of effort will bring it back.

Chrome is what I was using. Had to use Safari to get it back

What version of chrome? What Operating System? What version of Operating System? When the error occurs are there any errors shown in the developer tools?

We're getting a number of reports on this but none of them have given sufficient information to try and recreate or resolve the problem.

I have tested it a bit. It doesn't depend on browser version. I have seen it happen on firefox 26/29, chrome 30/34, IE10/11 and some other firefox/chrome versions months ago.

There isn't any significant msg in console or error in debugger either.
