Thank you Wayne I will give that a try when I get the new version installed. Worked perfectly in the demo site

Set your logo to /core/clear.gif in the Style Variable editor.

Go to Styles & Templates -> Style Manager.
Click the Go Button to the right of the Drop Down to enter the Style Variable editor.
In the search box type titleimage.
Click on the titleimage style variable and change the path.

Doesn't actually get rid of the logo but replaces it with a 1X1 pixel gif file that is transparent.

Deleting the file, just gives you a "File Not Found" error and an image placeholder in many browsers. Very ugly.

You might try deleting the vbulletin5_logo.png file from the /images/misc folder

    Logo Removal

I am working on a demo site trying to figure out a few things before my test site gets installed. Is there any way to remove the logo area from the pages? I don't have a logo I have a banner which I can install as a background, but the logo is over it and I would like it to be gone.
