  • Can't Add New Sub-Forums

    I can't add any new sub-forums, it appears to create it, but after clicking save, it just gives me a blank page with "Forum Manager" at the top, and nothing else.

    Anyone else getting this as well?

    No, I don't have this problem.

    1.
    What version of vB5 are you using?

    2.
    Did you do it this way:
    - AdminCP > Channel Management > Add New Forum.
    - Enter a name and a description (optional).
    - Under "Parent Channel" select the place where you want to create a sub-forum.
    - Save it.
    Does this work?

      How many forums do you have? Are you using Site Builder or the Channel Management tools in the AdminCP?

        Using 5.0.5, 32 forums, ~I tried adding through the control panel as per TLMD's suggestion, and it seems to respond, but goes to a page with only the Forum Manager title at the top, with nothing underneath, the sub-forum has not been created, either.

          Try enabling debug mode and see if that gives you a better error.

          To enable debug mode edit the /config.php file and change:

          Code:
          $config['debug'] = false;
          To:
          Code:
          $config['debug'] = true;
          Then edit the /core/includes/config.php file and change:

          Code:
          // $config['Misc']['debug'] = true;
          To:
          Code:
          $config['Misc']['debug'] = true;

          Please don't PM or VM me for support - I only help out in the threads.
