hey one of the admins did what was suggested now the whole admin cp panel was messed up like the site

    We used this

    Site URL: http://fourms.mysitename.com
    Login URL: http://fourms.mysitename.com
    Core URL: http://fourms.mysitename.com/core

but when we took out forums the site went back to what it look like in the first place. So I think the suggestions above is not a solution.

use the http and ditch the www maybe?

Edit: also, make sure you have no bookmarks using the wrong format.....clear your history and cache and so forth on your browser....took me a while to figure that one out. I had a bookmark that was http:mysitename.com/forums and it made it so I could never log in. :/
The http:// is always required. The www depends on which you want to use AND what your server is setup to use. If you can get to your domain both with and without www then you can choose which you prefer- but you must remain consistent and either always use the www or never use www.

In 5.0.5 the front end /config.php no longer needs manual editing, older versions required you to put the base url in the file. If you upgraded to 5.0.5 from an older version I recommend you simply replace the /config.php file in your forum root with the config.php.bkp file in the original install package. Just rename the file to config.php before uploading.

I was in touch with the person who changed the domain and she updated what she knew that had to be updated but she knows nothing about the front end /config.php file.

Where is exactly is that in the admin cp?

    Login problems

    Hello

I am having some problems regarding logging into my site. I along with admin or mods can get in via the admin/mod cp but members cant login the usual way. We recently changed our domain name and it was after that we had problems. Instead of the login box appearing an image of the whole site appears. We are not sure why this is happening. Is there anyone that can help us.

    The site is www.mjjforeverbad.com
