  • Unable to post cause text area is hidden

    After to update from 4.1.1 to 5.0.5 we have almost everything ready but we have a big last problem we can't post ( any user from any User Group included Administrators ) cause text box for typing text it is disabled.

    After checking some possibilities we discovered that visibility style for the textarea is always hidden:

    Code:
    <div class="b-editor b-editor--cke-toolbar-is-hidden">
        <textarea id="vb-cke-instance-1" class="js-editor b-form-textarea__textarea b-form-textarea__textarea--full b-form-textarea__textarea--ckeditor js-focus-on-page-load js-ckeditor-init-on-page-load" name="text" rows="2" placeholder="Write here ..." tabindex="1" style="visibility: hidden;"></textarea>
        <span class="autosave-indicator h-hide">
            Auto-Saved
        </span>
    </div>
    </code>
    If we edit CSS removing "visibility:hidden;" then we can type even publish the post ( so i assume it is not a permissions problem ) as you can see at attached screenshots.

    Any idea for fixing ???

    What does your network panel look like on that page? What server requests are failing?

          I see nobody replied anyway now don't worry we fixed problem by ourselves ( as usually all cusomer do when they see they have no support )

          If some other user has same problem take care with languages, we imported a languague file which contained some "Custom Phrases" and not sure why but made crash CKEditor. Once we removed the custom phrases then everything worked fine again.

              I am sorry.. support is not instant. I am glad you have solved the issue. What changes did you make besides removing the css as that is not the proper solution.

                Hi Wayne,

                No we didn't touch anything on CSS, what we did it is to remove the custom phrases on language manager. Don't know why but some of the custom phrases was crashing CKEditor :? once we removed the custom phrases then started working fine :-?
