It not important what is your main directory. You NEED to upload the image for ranks in the CORE/IMAGES/RANKS folder not in images folder from your main directory.
On another hand CORE should be inside the upload directory.
This should be the right location for your rank files: www>vb5>upload>core>images>ranks

Tried creating images/ranks/admin.gif from the core directory and got the same result. The help file says:
My main forum directory is upload, is that not my core?User Rank File Path Enter a file path to an image for this rank. The path should be relative to your main forum directory. For example, if the image you want for this rank is named rank.gif and you upload it to the images directory within your forum directory then you would enter: images/rank.gif
Alternately, you can leave this field blank and fill in the next one instead.

User Ranks
Not sure why I get this error: Invalid File Path Specified when I try to make ranks for my site. I have tried to put it in images/ranks folder on my site.
My structure: www > vb5 > upload > images > ranks
My setup: images/ranks/admin.gif
I was attempting to give the admin group a rank on this example.Tags: None
