  • Help Site Down! Weird 123 before <!DOCTYPE html>

    When I woke up this morning I found this error on my

    That action could not be completed. Please try again, and if this occurs again please contact the system administrator and tell them how you got this message.

    I then noticed a 123
    before <!DOCTYPE html>

    I hadn't done anything to the site. Thought I might need to empty the cache but that did not work, Also checked the preheader template and that did not have a 123 before <!DOCTYPE html>

    This error kills my entire site that is running on bulletin. Anyone have any clue how I can fix this, please help.
    Thanks,
    Andy

    Check your config.php files and make sure they do not have any stray 123 characters in them...

      I found this in the second line of autoloader.php, is this suppose to be there? Config.php looked fine.
      <?php
      echo("123");

        It should not be there. You probably want to replace the entire file.

          Okay that fixed it. Do you have any idea how that file could have manipulated?

            Not off the top of my head. Someone would need access to your files through one means or another.

              My forums stopped showing all threads, although the forum was still somewhat functional. The PMs stopped working and now the site is completely down with this message:

              Today I asked HostGator if they could install our SSL. They did it while I was on a chat line and they said it was good to go.
